Charter
Financial Planning was established in 1981 by Barry
Woolley and Deborah White. Sue Counsell joined in 1982
and the three of us have been in business together
since then.
We are very proud
to say that many of our clients have been with us
throughout the 1980s and 1990s and now into the 2000s,
and our services have changed with their changing
needs. Having spent twenty years building up wealth,
many running their own businesses, we are now helping
them to maintain that wealth for themselves and generations
to follow.
We achieve this
through Tailored
Asset Management,
our specialist service where we tailor bespoke
portfolios, be it pensions or personal investment,
based on a thorough understanding of individual
investment needs. The key is an initial understanding
of our clients’ expectations and then ongoing
monitoring and rebalancing. It is a highly personalised
service which depends for its success on building
up a long term client relationship.
This service
is just as important for our younger clients who
are working hard to create their wealth and we
continue to offer full financial planning advice
in the areas of family
and business protection (death
and ill heath); technical
pension advice, including SIPPs and SSASs,
which is particularly important in the run up to
Pension Simplification in 2006; estate
and inheritance tax planning;
and Deborah runs offers specialist mortgage
services.
In all areas
we offer independent advice
and have access to the whole market.
